Allied Importers USA Launches New Line of Israeli Fine Wines and Adds to Popular Kinneret Line

Allied Importers USA, one of the largest importers and distributors of kosher wines in the United States, today introduced their line of Ella Valley Select Wines. Four varietals were introduced: A semi dry white wine, which is a blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Muscat, a blend of Petite Sirah-Merlot and Shiraz, a White Zinfandel and a Fume Blanc.
The Semi Dry White Wine, also known as Cuvee Prestige, was recently judged for the Kosherfest 2004 New Product Competition and won for the category Best New Wine. The Ella Valley Select wines are priced approximately between .99-.99 representing a significant value for the quality inherent in this series. All the wines are mevushal and are under the supervision of Baddatz Chardeith of Jerusalem and the OU. They are all Kosher for Passover. ÂÂWith the addition of the Ella Valey line along with the Kinneret wines, we are able to present to the public good quality Israeli wines that are reasonably priced,ÂÂ commented Executive Vice President Shai Ghermezian.
In addition, Allied Importers extended its increasingly popular Israeli Kinneret line of wines by unveiling its reserve series, which included a Barrel Aged Chardonnay and a Barrel Aged Chenin Blanc. Both wines were produced in limited quantity.
